Weitlaner Retractor is a stout instrument with long blades which has got sharp outward curved teeth to retract tissues.
It is self retaining haemostatic and gives wide exposure of the field.proximal shaft has got ratched with finger bows.When shafts are approximated blades will open. The shape of the this retractor is like scissors with downward pointing prongs at the tip. Weitlaner Retractor used in mastoid surgery, laminectomy, to retract scalp in neurosurgery and limb surgeries etc.
This product is available in either sharp and blunt prongs.
